So having taken up building models and making dioramas again after many years away from the hobby and needing to source desired materials to help. I couldn't find what I wanted, or at least in a way I wanted it so made it myself. I then thought that if I needed it then maybe others had the same need so decided to make up a website and give it a go.
Our range of scenic & other products are so diverse and too many to list on the website so we often appear at Model, Game and toy shows where our products can be seen and advice given, a list of these shows is available on the events page.
There are video tutorials on the website as well as hints and tips to help show how some products are used.
As we find a requirement we try to fulfill it in a way that is easy, innovative, and - most importantly - at a reasonable price, and make it available. If you need something, let us know maybe we can find a solution for you.
I'd used Humbrol, Valejjo, Citadel and Tamiya and others. I had decided to stock Tamiya then I found MMP Paints - probably the best paints designed for modelers.
When looking for a range of paints to sell we researched and researched and came to the conclusion that the best paints by far were those of Mission Models in the USA. So we contacted them and are now proud to say we are a stockist in the UK.
This range of paints is so unlike those available up until now - so easy and so good. It is worth spending a little time reading the tips and tricks to get the full benefit from this fabulous range. Ian, A customer that I talked to at the Avon IPMS model show told me that since he started using MMP he's thrown his other paints out - they're that good.
Fed up of getting plastic glue on canopies and clear plastic?
I developed an adhesive that does not haze or discolour these vital parts.
We make a filler that is easy to smooth, dries quickly and can be applied accurately with a syringe. Washes in fine tip dropper bottles so that they can be applied straight on the model. Why can't we just spray varnish direct from the bottle? - With ours you can, simple effective application - see the video on our tutorials page. I'm particularly proud of the Matt varnish!
Masking for painting? - We have a method that allows you to mark the mask and cut away from the model with a scissors before applying, no more scratching the beloved model with slips of the knife!
Fingers too big for those nasty little PE parts. - Use our PE picker pencil to handle and position in place.
The web-store is constantly under construction as new products arrive.
Packaging may vary from illustrations.
